Overview

The Physician Analyze page contains an enormous spread of metrics that provide insights into your selected Physician's practice and patient demographics. This article will summarize the organization and content of the tables in the various sections and tabs of the Analyze page and provide some helpful insights and tips for using this page.

It is always important to look for metrics that show:

A large patient population, and particularly a large post-acute population, i.e. hospice patients.
High post-acute utilization that reveals a commitment to post-acute care.
Areas of shared specialization.
Areas of struggle with post-acute care where you can provide guidance and support.

Page Summary

The table below summarizes each of the sections and tabs in the Physician Analyze page. The section/tab names in the left column are links to the full article for that section/tab.

Section/Tab	Description
Sales Spotlight tab	The Sales Spotlight page of any Analyze page will contain the most relevant metrics for the selected provider.
Patient Population	The focus of this tab is the patients treated by the selected physician. Four tables are included: Patient volume - counts of patients to evaluate the referral potential of the physician Patient Locations - breakdown of patient residence by County and ZIP code. Patient Diagnostic Mix - break down of patient counts by primary diagnoses based on the Trella Health Diagnostic Categories. Chronic Conditions - counts of CHF and COPD patients treated by the selected Physician. Patient Age breakdown
Practice Details	This tab has three tables that provide insights into the selected physician's practice: Physician Billing - a list of NPIs under which the physician has submitted claims. Facility Affiliations - contains the facilities through which the physician has submitted claims - focusing on the top five. Place of Service - shows where the physician is having visits with patients.
Utilization	There are two or three tables of metrics under this tab, depending on how you want to count them. Patient Hospice Utilization Hospice Timing - two tables that provide a detailed analysis that demonstrates the impact of earlier and longer hospice care Hospice Timing - Medicare Cost of Care Impact Hospice Timing - Utilization Impact
Destinations	The table shows the hospice agencies that admitted patients treated by this physician.
Medicare Advantage	Two tables that provide Medicare Advantage enrollment counts of patients treated by the selected Physician Vendor Medicare Advantage Patient Volume CMS Medicare Advantage Patient Volume - 100% Complete
